10 years + muay thai experience, including fighting/living/training in Thailand for a large part of that time. Darcy has trained with some of best fighters in Thailand, and among champion fighters from varied international backgrounds. Outside of muaythai, Darcy’s other interest is MMA & Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu.
Darcy began martial arts at the age of 8 years old in the early 90’s taking up Karate & Boxing.
In 2008, Darcy began training BJJ/ Judo/ Wrestling on and off while travelling around Australia, Thailand, Japan, Bali and currently trains BJJ @ Gracie Smeaton Grange in Sydney, with UFC champion Robert Whittaker & team, being a member of theirs since right back at their beginning in 2015.
Darcy is also currently studying a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education, majoring in Sports Coaching and Exercise Science at the University of Canberra. Darcy also has been employed as a soccer coach with 5 years experience coaching at a state level in futsal and head coach of a big club in Canberra, as well as having a top level junior soccer career spanning just over a decade.
Currently as of January 2019, Darcy has trained 14 fighters from Mulwaree Muaythai to nearly 50 fights!!
